LATEST NEWS - 10th August 2003

RACING SYNDICATE NEWS:

Bodfari Pride: Share owners please ring Mark regarding his last run.

Environment Friend 3-y-o Grey Gelding: Last two shares available in this superbly bred un-raced and un-named grey by Environment Friend. We resisted putting him into training as a two year old, as off-spring of the sire tend to need an extra year to show their true talent. He is now working nicely and is expected to make his track debut in about a month's time.

SPECIAL OFFER FOR 2003 !

We are offering an unbeatable deal for 2003! You can own a full share in this three year old grey for £500 plus 12 monthly payments of £140 (includes the outright purchase of the share). And then dropping to only £100 per month over the second 12 month period. Compare this to a similar quality of syndicate owned horse with trainer Peter Harris in the South at over £400 per month for 2 years! Alternatively at a small discount, you may pay off the first 12 months in a lump sum payment of £2100 (includes purchase of share). These prices valid in August or until the shares are sold. Shares left = 2

UN-RACED 3-Y-O GREY GELDING BY ENVIRONMENT FRIEND

The syndicate for this very well bred 3-y-o out of a 3 x WINNING AND LISTED PLACED BLACK-TYPE MARE (Al Reet) is coming along very nicely now and the syndicate consists of some very nice people including top Premiership Referee, Mike Dean from the Wirral.

He is in training with Mick Mullineaux in Cheshire, some of you might be thinking, who's he? Well he is a very shrewd cookie indeed, and knows the time of day with his horses. Mick had a massive double for such a small stable at York last season with Kieran Fallon riding both winners at 7/2 Fav & 5/1 Fav, a 26/1 double at SP.

Shares are available in various methods of payment including lump sum(s) and monthly payment plans. Please ring or e-mail for details. There will be a maximum of 16 in the syndicate and the price is fixed until the end of August, if there are any shares left. The pedigree of the mare and stallion were strongly recommended by the British Bloodstock Agency and leading pedigree analyst, Patrick Brain. This is an ideal syndicate to be in on right from the start in a class horse who could make up into a very nice stayer/dual purpose prospect! He must be viewed to be appreciated properly! *LATEST NEWS* It has been decided that this horse will now run right through the turf Flat season into the winter on the a/w, so plenty to look forward to when the dark nights draw in! LAST 2 SHARES REMAINING!

"The syndicate member's Christmas Party (at Uttoxeter) was one of the best days of my life".
Gary Penrose, York. (Syndicate Member For 8 Years)

"Thanks for all your help over the years".
Alan Pryer, London. (Syndicate Member For 3 Years)

Robert Peck, Cumbria. (Syndicate Member For 2 Years)

"For a small payment each month, I am very happy to be part of the syndicate (in Up In Flames pictured above after winning at the Vodafone Epsom Derby Meeting). The experience I've had since I joined is just unbelievable. From just three runs we've had a win and a 3rd at Nottingham. I just can't believe this is happening, it's all my dreams come true and I would like to thank Mark (Kilner) and the rest of the syndicate members for making me welcome".
David Hancox, Warkwickshire. Letter To Racing Post. (Syndicate Member For 5 Years)

"I would like to thank you for giving my good friends Gerry and Jackie King such a wonderful afternoon at Epsom races. Thanks for the kindness and friendship that you have shown to Gerry. It has restored his faith in human nature. Should you ever be in this part of the country, please feel free to call in".
Dave Heart, Littlehampton, Sussex. (Former Owners Of Up In Flames)

"I hope you have recovered from Sandown, I had a great time! I am grateful you gave me the chance of being involved with such a smashing racehorse (Outset). What a bunch of people you and the others are!".
Ray Torre, London. (Syndicate Member For 3 Years)

"We have always found you have communicated with us in a frank and honest manner, and are more than happy to continue what will hopefully be a successful and prosperous new season for all the syndicate members".
Mark Chambers, West Yorkshire. (Syndicate Member For 3 Years)

"One furlong out when I realised he was going to win, I noticed the man behind the counter (in the betting shop) watching me with a surly expression on his face; I only had £10 each-way (at 33/1) in this particular shop and had £50 each-way in all".
Terry Wilson, London. (Syndicate Member For 10 Years)
(Recounting his experience from a Ladbrokes betting shop in Brighton)

"Just a quick line to once again thank you for the last five years I have been associated with the syndicate. Having been places I wouldn't have dreamed about before, obviously Epsom stands out above everything else".
Ian Roberts, Todmorden, Lancashire. (Syndicate Member For 5 Years)

WHAT THE PAPERS SAY......

"With a small syndicate like the one run by Mark Kilner in Bolton, members can share in equal success."
Money Mail Section In The Daily Mail

"Outset is owned by a syndicate headed by Mark Kilner, who declared after the win "We are all chuffed to bits. We all backed him (off the racecourse in betting shops) and I can't believe he started at 11/1 from 14/1. We thought he would be more like 4/1."
Sporting Life

"Mark Kilner has a few spaces left in the latest group that he's putting together. Considering how successful he has been to date, I should imagine they (the shares) may be worth snapping up good and early".
Trainer Micky Hammond Speaking In The Herald

WHAT NEW SYNDICATE MEMBERS HAVE WROTE

" Well done to all concerned, the horse (Bodfari Pride) looked the part and was well ridden (by Daryll Holland) considering his draw! I had £50 on him" Brian Baillie, Howwood, Renfrewshire. (Syndicate Member for 2 months)

"Thank you Mark for allowing me to be part of the Bodfari Pride syndicate. I was glued to my seat watching the race and won quite a bit of money as well! I have found you to be very upfront and open." Dave Wallace, Basingstoke, Hampshire. (Syndicate Member for 3 weeks)

"All of my friends had a really good day yesterday (at Southwell) and to cut a long story short, the look on my sister's face when he won made it all worthwhile!" Graham Swallow, West Yorks. (Syndicate Member for 3 months)

"Well done Mark with Bodfari Pride, he did it well" Premiership Referee, Mike Dean, Wirral. (Syndicate Member for 2 months)

"If anyone has any doubts about joining one of Marks' syndicates in the future, you couldn't wish to meet a more honest person within the sport. I met him at Alan Bailey's stable and after seeing Bodfari Pride signed up immediately and was thrilled to be part of the winning team at Southwell." Greater Manchester Police Officer, Graham Rothwell, Manchester. (Syndicate Member for 2 months)
